Meet Halea
I was thirteen when my family opened a Bridal Shoppe, and I quickly fell in love with weddings. Aside from the natural beauty and wonder of the industry, I learned how to fill in gaps of need and service during such an emotional time in someone’s life. During this time, my parents bought me a digital camera and my once perceived quirk of “seeing things differently” (coined lovingly by my parents) started showcasing itself in serving others through photography.
No season is ever wasted.
My Story:
I found myself in love with stories and capturing the moments in between that told them. "Soul images” came about when I used my upbeat, doesn’t know a stranger, personality to put my clients at ease in a way that allowed them to actually enjoy the photo session process. My parents bought me my first “big girl” camera for Christmas as a teen, and the rest is history.
Images of a new mama and the joy in her eyes, not just the squishy newborn - A grandmother’s happy tears on wedding day, not just the glowing bride and groom.
My true gift wasn’t always perfectly lit or composed images, but images that showed the heart and true emotions of a person:
I officially launched my business in 2018 when I graduated from college. My worlds collided when I accepted a job at a luxury wedding venue that led to me becoming manager. Here, I was able to hone in on my people loving, serving and planning abilities for six years.
Today, my joy is capturing a wedding day with both precision and emotion, while telling the unique story of the day. After I became a wife and a mama, I have valued true, personality shining family portraits that tell of the story of this season of life.. It is one of the greatest joys of my life to serve you as you journey together with your loves.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and am known as mama to the sweetest girl on the planet. My family motivates and inspires me. My Jesus keeps me going. I talk about my family everywhere I go, and my faith is intertwined into every piece of who I am. Get ready for story time about my babies when we met! It’s one of my favorite ways to connect with people.

I believe it’s important to champion those relationships and nourish them..
